The Sequence Bio team continues to grow with the addition of Troy Pollett as director, security audit & compliance.

Originally from Corner Brook, NL, Pollett brings over two decades of experience building successful security, audit and risk management programs in challenging, fast-paced environments, and a deep understanding of information security needs of modern cloud-based environments within the technology sector.  

He joins the Sequence Bio team from Verafin, where he was the director of security audit and risk management, responsible for auditing the top anti-financial crime management solution used by many of the largest banks in North America.

“I was very attracted to the strategic direction that the company is taking - it’s an interesting opportunity to apply my experience to a project that is completely new to me, and that has real potential to help others,” says Pollett. “I’m excited to be working with the people of Newfoundland and Labrador, applying global best practices for security and technologies to have a global impact.” 

As director, security audit & compliance, Pollett will champion Sequence Bio’s industry-leading security program, ensuring alignment and compliance with international cybersecurity standards including the ISO Information Security Standards (27001/2) and the NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
